Each year since 1995, the Baxter County Master Gardeners have presented a community seminar entitled "Developing
an Ozark Green Thumb." This seminar is an educational opportunity for area residents covering various aspects of Ozark gardening. Many
topics have been covered, including vegetables, herbs, perennial and annual plants, roses, raised bed gardens, composting, lawns, trees,
shrubs, container gardens, insect and disease control, and more. The seminar is extremely popular, drawing over 150 paid attendees each
year, and invariably receiving very positive feedback.
