Baxter County Master Gardeners
Organizational Structure
Baxter County Master Gardeners is a formal organization of qualified Arkansas Master Gardeners. The group has officers, a board of directors, bylaws, dues, regular meetings, SIG (Special Interest Group) meetings and community projects. The Baxter County Master Gardeners are under the office of the University of Arkansas's County Extension Agent for Baxter County.
The board of directors consists of the officers, membership director, public education/events, education director, and the past president as a non voting member. Most of the "business" of BCMG is conducted at the board meetings so that the general membership meetings can focus on educational topics.
